Giving five stars because this place is a total bargain for the location and had everything necessary for a brief stay. Not the glitziest hotel in the area but you get a gated parking garage (ours was very close to our room - super convenient!). Room was not huge but had everything necessary for our overnight stay and was very clean. Breakfast included hot food and some fresh and healthy options (very welcome since so many places mostly have pre-packaged, processed food). Staff were very pleasant and responsive to requests. We are bookmarking the Hyatt House for future Houston visits. Thank you!

My Husband and I stayed here this was my first and his second for the most part it wasn’t bad but not great either. They said they were under new management so I’ll give it some time before returning. They had a bar that wasn’t really a bar the bartender did his best. The first elevator was out our entire stay and I guess they had a leak because the carpet was being dried by a loud fan. The breakfast was not worth it the only had one meat option. Some people don’t eat pork so please keep that in mind. Some don’t eat pork my most ppl beef and turkey unless meatless. It’s cool if you just want somewhere to sleep but the potential could be so much more!

This is a great experience with the great price. The only reason I gave it a four is because of the food not only was the food that I received from the kitchen, which was fresh fruit I thought spoiled, but the food advertise is not the food I saw in the kitchen. There was really unlimited selection, but maybe because people were eating it all up. I didn’t stay around to see how many times they would refill, but the things that were there was not interesting to me so I grabbed some fruit. Took it up to the room and thought it would be good and it shouldn’t not have never been put out. Outside of that the area is clean and nice, the hotel is spacious and the room was really big with twin twin queen along with counter space and Storage. Probably my favorite thing about the room is the full fledge kitchen for warming up the leftovers that we purchased

I’ve had the privilege of staying in hotels and resorts across the globe and hold Platinum and/or Diamond status with several major hotel rewards programs. I share this not to boast but to provide context for what it takes to impress me. That said, this 125-room, 3-star hotel, tucked into the southern heart of Houston’s Galleria area, is a hidden jewel. While the facilities are slightly nicer than one might expect for a hotel of its class, it’s important to remember that all hotels are built with the same brick and mortar. What truly sets a place apart, in my opinion, is the staff—their attitudes and their enjoyment of the work they do. More simply put: I have to do vs. I want to do! In today’s world, it’s increasingly rare to encounter individuals who not only want to work but somehow find joy in what they do. Yet, at this hotel, I’ve consistently witnessed staff members making efforts to achieve professionalism in the little things that matter, as well as others who retain a personal enthusiasm for their work—evident in their genuine smiles, even when dealing with the occasional entitled, unappreciative, or implacable guest. These guests may choose to take out their frustrations on the staff, but the team doesn’t accept abuse while still managing to create an exceptional experience for those guests. While there are no absolutes, this team truly stands out. I want to specifically commend Susie, Amanda, Ruby, and Needa for delivering service that rivals some five-star establishments. The entire staff, including Taylor, Kelley, Francisco, Hillary, Barb, and Daisy (to name the few I can recall by memory), all deserve an honorable mention in recognition for their commitment to service. Thank you for creating an environment where guests feel valued, and please continue striving to under-promise and over-deliver. It’s a rare and refreshing experience in hospitality, and one I won’t forget. Keep up the fantastic work!

I was on a long drive for Florida home to Seattle. It was after midnight so you can use the hotel apps I needed a safe clean room for the night. I was able to find parking for the super big coach bus I was driving. The front desk hooked me up a a better rate, free bottle of water and the room was amazing, clean with a Kitchenette, pull out couch and privacy for the bed. Full size frig this would be great for a long stay. Great customer service free breakfast buffet and located next to the mall.

Nice room! Really big area like a studio, and the kitchen is with a full size refrigerator. Room is clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. Bring our dog just add $75 one time fee. Good place and really recommend.

This was a delightful experience! Our room was very clean and beautiful. The bed was amazing - sooo comfortable! We slept so well. The front desk people were all extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Parking was convenient and secure. The warm breakfast was definitely a step above the usual yogurt and apple other comparable hotels serve. The location is fantastic - right in the middle of the city but our room was quiet and peaceful. This was a wonderful experience and we definitely plan to return here on our next visit to Houston!

Nice room. Bedroom TV is the smallest I've seen in a while. Walk in shower, but small bathroom w/ separate sink/mirror. Quiet place in a residential area, no businesses in walking distance. Gated parking garage. Breakfast was decent.
